thats great.. the 1987 halfs were nifc.. not issued for circulation. i had to break open a mint set to get my 1987-p and 1087-d for my book. they came only in mint sets or in proof sets.

Got my 1987p a couple weeks ago, still need the d. Determined to get the whole JFK business strike series. Someday I might have a impaired proof set too.
