Haywood said those trying to cash in by searching for more coins can get a ticket for stopping along the interstate and that troopers were watching the area.

They Won't be watching Forever.

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. -- A man's rare coin collection worth about $1 million was scattered along Interstate 95 when the collector's car was involved in a rollover crash near mile marker 250 on Thursday evening.

WFTV Crew Finds Marijuana At Crash Scene

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. -- WFTV noticed that after the scene was cleared by troopers, that there were still rare coins all over the ground. WFTV began picking them up to return them to the owners, when they came upon the suitcase. It was opened and that is when the marijuana was discovered.

WFTV called troopers back and watched as two men returned, who said they were family members of the crash victims, and tried to take the suitcase. Before the men could leave, troopers showed up and stopped them. They brought in a drug sniffing dog that confirmed the presence of marijuana.

“Florida Highway Patrol searched the red bag and found this white box filled with marijuana. They collected it as evidence and reported it as found property,” said Haywood.

looks like their was some "token's" mixed in with those coins. sorry couldn't help myself on that one.

no wonder the coin "dealer" did not want to leave the scene of the accident until he knew his things were " properly taken care of by "trusted" family members " oppsie

Forget the seeds. Search for the rare coins that may still may be there. Good luck.
