started swinging where I left of the other day. About 5 minutes in I got my first dig. Down about 7" I seen a nice green coin. Further inspection showed it is an 1864 Indian with very nice detail. No "L", I looked real good. If there was it meant a big difference in value. Later I got a 1950 wheat, and a 1950 Canadian cent. Many other doo dads including an old black powder pistol ball. I am all done with that yard. As far as old coins it gave up 5 wheats, one older Canadian cent, 3 Indians, 2 Barber dimes, and the shield nickel.

Dang, that's an oldie! They must not be much for fertillizing the lawn, cause the detail is great. Got a bit of a warm spell in the forecast, so I suppose you'll be swingn'. Good luck.

Before even reading your post I looked for lettering in the feathers. Even zoomed in. No letter but it sure is a fine IHP with good detail. Never give up, maybe the harsh winter we are supposed to have will heave up a few more goodies in the spring. Always a good day when you can pull out a nice greenie. Maybe I'll see ya out and about this weekend-supposed to be nice and upper 50s.
