Hi T-Net, Just thought id share a most excellent find with you all its my first V-Nickel.
I'm proud to say I belong to the magnificent 7 and have a great time the last two weeks hunting the honey hole with S.Cali best hunters.
Tuesday afternoon I got off work early to go meet the gang in the "hot spot" and shortly after getting there I get a nice coin tone not very deep but in someone Else's plug and with that tone I'm getting a low tone in there somewhere as well so seeing as the hard work has been done for me I remove half there plug and some dirt to find a Lincoln as I recheck the hole I'm hearing the low tone coming through nicely now, a few more inch's down and to the side out pops this beauty :tongue3:

Also scored a couple of Silvers a neat game token and a handful of Wheat's.

Thanks for checking in T-Net.

Goldenapples, it would be an honor to be a part of the "Magnificent 7." You guys excavate artifacts out of place where detectorists have been for over 40 years.

The V-nickel is in great shape. Nice job on that one, man!
