I melt lead for bullets, divers weights, and lead soldiers. right now I am keeping it for ballast in a motorsailor project I have been working on. if I ever get seriously in need of lead I could do a dive or two on the perch fishing grounds. I could probably haul several hundred pounds out in a day pretty easily.

best of luck to you on your reloading.

mlayers, perch like rocky areas, the spreaders get caught in between the rocks, not to mention on the spreaders everyone else has lost.. the local tv station said they are limiting out in 30 minutes.

the perch right now are in 40' of water so yeah a boat is necessary to catch perch. some folks fish off of lorain ohio's pier it juts out into lake erie close to a mile and do catch perch occasionaly, but not as much as off a boat.
