Ive been considering a dredge and i wanted to know witch would suit my type or mining
I eant to use the smallest i can
I mostly work creeks and as far as big river i normally go for small gravel pockets in bedrock
Would a 2.5 inch effectivly move material or do i need a 3

Heavy pans

Are you going to walk the dredge in or do you have a ride. It will make a difference on your selection. I have a 2.5 that I put together that is light and will pull the chrome off a trailer ball. I use it for running the high grade from bedrock while running my 4". If you are dealing with shallow bedrock it will get the job done if bedrock is deep the bigger the better.
