Went for a drive to a few different parks that have produced well in the past. One spot was a church activity field thats about 2 acres in size. When I was there the Preacher asked if I could find whats tearing up thier lawnmower blades. I talked to him last year when I hunted this spot, I was actually thinking he was going to ask me to leave when he was walking over, but he was cool about it. thats where the Barber, 2 dimes and the war nickel was found. The past 2 days I must have found 20 wheats scattered through all the different parks I hit. Also found a NYC transit token, about $8 in clad and some tot toys, :headbang:
Enjoy...

Sorry, forgot to mention that,....yes its a quarter, 1904-O

Sweet finds!!! Congrats :icon_thumright:

Nice little assortment there! Only thing I have found in that league as of late is a Canadian Large cent dated 1900 (and no mint mark). When I get a picture taken of it, I'll make a post. Nice going on the finds!!

Looks like you saved the preachers mower blade by getting that pesky quarter out of the ground! Nice finds!

Lawnmower coin club!! Like the other guy said, you did him a good one.

Love the delta wing fighter. Mid to late 50's. But is it one of ours or a sinking MIG??? Sorry, I lost it, but I was raised back when commie pinkos weren't too popular.

Great collection of Finds - Congrats to you !!

Congrats on the silver , cool Chevy Nova toy 8) 8)

Good call on the nova and fighter, but can anyone guess the last car? "hint" its from a very popular TV show.

That can't be the Gen Lee?? Man, I'm your daisy.

Pretty sure it's not the shuttle. Also pretty sure it isn't a F-106 (I think. I have proven how bad my memory is) Fighter/Interceptor. What ever that delta wing was. Methinks still a MiG.

Looks like a Mirage (french) maybe not. Question is still "did you find what was tearing up the lawnmower blade?" Stan...

:icon_thumright: Nice hunting HH,, and dig some more silver

Nope, sorry, not the general, the car is a Toronado. If I remember correctly I think thats what Starsky drove. :laughing9:
