I haven’t posted much in the past year because I had my right knee replaced last August, this August I get the left one done. So I figured, lets make the best of the pain and just get some detecting done. It’s amazing the pain you can endure when you’re making finds. My feeling is there was a house on this site probably from 1840 – 60 and it likely burned. The late-19thc iron horse buckles were found in an opposite corner of the field and are later then the finds from the home site.

Thanks for looking,

What a great hunt Dave - congrats !
Thanks E-Trac, I appreciate your post!

Wow Dave, you came back with a bang, congrats!
Glad your repairs went well, looking forward to seeing more posts from you :icon_thumleft:
Thanks buddy, hope to make some additional finds here if the soil gets disked. Although, this field may never see a crop again, as the area has new homes being built close by.

Hope you're keeping cool in NV,
Dave

Dave,
You came back in style. 👍 Great haul you have pictured. I ❤️ that token!!!
Tell the docs to put in some bionic knees so you can dig those deep targets easier.
Thanks for the great post,
MM

Thanks for your post KC, I appreciate it.

Looks like a great batch of finds. Love those Large Cents.
Thanks! This is only the second US LC I've found here in Canada, the first one was 14 years ago. Both coins hit 93 on the Deus, for a moment I thought they were going to be silver. :laughing7:

Thanks for your post my friend and for your words of support about my knees. Unfortunately, I'm not able to get down on one knee like I used to, I now dig everything from a standing position. What's funny, is my surgeon calls the piece she installs in my knee 'the appliance'. :icon_scratch:
