✅ SOLVED 2 Eggs in Hollow Tree Trunk, any ideas?

Detecting by a Sring in the woods in East Texas and saw these two eggs in this massive tree trunk any idea what kind of eggs they are?

I haven't been back to the eggs, but if I do, maybe I will take my wildlife camera and see what shows up!

Looks like swallow tailed kite eggs to me.
Although they haven't been seen in Wisconsin since the 1800's

Do you have Kildear (spelling?) in your area. They lay eggs on the ground...but the size might be small for a kildear

just crack them open..if they look like chicken eggs eat them..that's what i would do...just kidding, use a game camera set it up and leave it alone for a few days.you would be surprised what nature has to offer...

Thanks for replying, I really appreciate it. Robin eggs are blue I am from Wisconsin where the robin is the state bird, I have seen many Robin eggs!

Thank you for your comment. I have seen killdeer eggs at home in Wisconsin and they are much smaller than the eggs I have here.

Yuck... LOL the sad thing is is that I do have a trail camera and it is just sitting here in my RV!

You are about 100 miles south of me. If you get up this way in December through March give me a hollar, I have 12 miles of woods to detect on Gated Private Property.

I have them all over my property, they look just like duck eggs to me.
Yes the coloration does look like duck eggs, but usually with a duck aren't a lot more eggs? Not sure.
