Looks like swallow tailed kite eggs to me.
Although they haven't been seen in Wisconsin since the 1800's
Thanks for the reply, I am in East Texas for the winter and that is where I found the eggs.
Thanks again,
Cindy
Thank you for your comment. I have seen killdeer eggs at home in Wisconsin and they are much smaller than the eggs I have here.Do you have Kildear (spelling?) in your area. They lay eggs on the ground...but the size might be small for a kildear
Yuck... LOL the sad thing is is that I do have a trail camera and it is just sitting here in my RV!just crack them open..if they look like chicken eggs eat them..that's what i would do...just kidding, use a game camera set it up and leave it alone for a few days.you would be surprised what nature has to offer...
owg..
You are about 100 miles south of me. If you get up this way in December through March give me a hollar, I have 12 miles of woods to detect on Gated Private Property.Cool find. I'm in East Texas myself and I haven't seen eggs like that around here in Rusk where I stay
Yes the coloration does look like duck eggs, but usually with a duck aren't a lot more eggs? Not sure.I have them all over my property, they look just like duck eggs to me.
