2 HUNTS 1 THREAD * COLONIAL BUTTONS * SILVER & A IH

yesterday hit a old farmhouse,so much trash i couldn't take it more than 2 hours.got a 44 merc and a flat button and a pouch of foil,beer caps,aluminum siding clippings.too frustrating to even stay so,off to a cellar hole.popped a few buttons and a OXKNOB & called it a day.
today (sunday) went with Gary to a big open field that has given up CT coppers,king george's,colonial shoe buckles etc.was pretty quiet since we been hittin the place pretty hard. i managed a 1888 IH,one small designed colonial button,a large plain colonial tombac button with a shank on it that I have never dug like this before.a ornate bridle rosette and a small buckle
Gary got a shot matron head and a large dandy or cloak button.I think we are gonna retire this field after todays hunt. have a great weekend everyone!

I never did find out what it was . . . any idea what this is?

no idea what it is dave.yep thats a piece of crotal bell and not sure what the mini flower pot lookin thingy ma jig is?
