How many trash targets per gold target do you find on average?

You find gold very consistently, and I dig mountains of junk with gold finds very rare.

I know this is largely the locations we hunt, but I am curious as to the actual difference.
We find lots of trash, sometimes I wish we could find someone who recycles aluminum foil, for an actual number i dont really count the trash just throw it in my pouch until the end of the day. this would be just a wild guess but id say probaly averaage 75-100 pieces of junk on an all day event now we average 6-8 days out a month this does include 2 1/2 saturdays because I work until noon on those days. so that would mean roughly 500 pieces of trash a month, averaging 4 pieces of gold a month so that would equal roughly 1 piece of gold for every 125 and up pieces of trash. We are not random with our sites but very methodical the ones thaat produce the most gold and silver finds are the ones that get hunted the most frequently we then use some other sites as filler, in case we arent finding much on any givin day. We do drive alot and rejokingly refer to ourselves as locusts. but we are together and generally have no set time to be home. zour detecting sites are typically picked at least a week or so in advance and set up to accomodate our schedule. I will do an actual trash count starting next saturday and let you know in a month for exact number
