I spent the day running errands, had just enough time to hit a small park for 2 hours. I was hunting in a small section of woods when I saw this bottle sticking out of the dirt about half an inch, I dug around it and managed to retrieve it without a chip :headbang: also found this 3 inch aluminum badge. its too fried to read, i think it says masonic temple of new york, ill have to clean it more.
enjoy

You might try a little electrolysis on the badge.....it seems to work wonders on some items.

most likely a watch fob, i can see where a loop may have been. as far as I can tell its some sort of commemorative badge for the masonic district deputy, june, 1875,
it cleaned up pretty good,

The 'badge' came out very nice....can you tell what it is made from?......it looks like silver in the pics.

Nice finds!

All the best,

Lanny
