1- I have several Casino tokens in their plastic holders from the mid, 1990s ; my ? is as they are marked .999 silver is just the center of these tokens silver or is the outer rim plated silver .If I recall the rim is a Brass color or could it be a silver center with a brass rim. 2 why does the mint not make silver proof coinage out of pure silver ? as they are not meant for gen, circulation . Is it a Bullion thing ? I know proofs do and will get into circulation so prob, a dumb question. oh well.:icon_scratch:

Its a brass ring. Only about .65 oz. Of .999 silver in most $10 dollar tokens.

Proofs are not made in pure silver so that they resemble the 90%ers that were in circulation.
