had a fun evening. My Excal is in the shop. Took out my surf master PI. This was the first real time I used it and found deep targets. I have a big T-rex scoop and when I am out with my excal I usually get everything in the 1st or 2nd Scoop. Today with the Surfmater PI. (the first time I used a pulse machine) it took 3 times. Sometimes 4 or 5. My conclusion, either the pulse surf master is much deeper than the excal or the pinpoint on the surf master stinks. I will have to do some more testing. Here are 2 nice rings I found this evening. 2 rings.jpg

Great looking rings. Sounds like you definitely need to do some side by side testing with the two machines. If you have a test garden that would be perfect.

True the PI will go deeper but will find deep hair pins that have rusted.
