Tuesday morning the traveling wibury’s hit the bay – nice, warm water, no waves.

Excalibur did manage to snag one nice gold ticket for me.

After the bay, we all had a nice lunch at surfrider restaurant. – dropped stacanomics off, she is heading back to the treasure coast today – by nomics – see u in the movies.

Now I decide to go back to the lane for the evening spin------------------storms everywhere and lightening and big drops..---------------------lane is closed when I first get there, I look around the ohio connection – no show -----I find out now, they got the mumbles and sailed back across the river into ohio.----------they may make a return spin in sept.

I did manage to find a bracelet and some normal beach stuff tues. evening and come to find out, - it is stamped 14K

Here are the spins from tues.

Good luck

Our local ocean temp is only 60 degrees...don't think we would be in yet without a wetsuit! congrats on the ring.

Why are they always closing the beach? Is that just in VA? I have never heard of them closing the beaches in Florida unless there is a red tide or something of that nature where people couldn't swim.

Gravediggermax,

Those are some nice finds. I can't believe all the goodies that you find, between gold and girls to pose.....Lucky guy.

I found a chain the other day like the one that you found that had a simple stamp of 14k. I didn't find it metal detecting, it was in an antique shop in the clearance basket. It weighs 30 grams and I paid a grand total of $14.60 plus tax. It looks exactly the same, like it is the big sister or brother. I'm afraid to have it tested and be told that it is fake. Have you had it tested yet?

I have found two nice gold chains this summer, marked 14k and 10k, and both say Italy on them. I was told the Excalibur wouldn't pick them up but it does.....

Good luck out there and look forward to seeing more pictures of the goodies ;D
