Obsidian, same thing as Volcanic Glass (like DovBeav said)

Not worth much if anything, the chunk you have may be worth 25 cents to a rock collector, probably not much more.

what was used obsidian or volcanic glass by japanese during worldwar 2? what used for during that time?
