We have a slot casino up in Bangor and I find smooth edge halfs all the time.

It comes from the repeted use of the same coin in the machines.

They have Nickel and up, so that can be an option.

Post mint damage, Or a real error,,,,need a clear pic.

My guess would be broadstrike (struck without the collar around it), but would like to see a front/reverse scan as well.

If it's broadstrike, it's pretty collectable.

Is that nail polish? I think you are only 1 of 2 females on here. My apologies, if you are not female, I just started pounding the barley as I just got home from work.

Get them like that all the time.

Casino Coin.

Rolled between the Rollers in the Slots until the reeding is gone, and the edge gets fatter and fatter.

Sometimes they are almost twice as thick as an ordinary coin.

Just another "gift" from the wonderful casinos.

Keep on Rollin' !
