Hi Everyone.
It's been a while since I've had anything but routine finds so I haven't been posting lately. I have reached or neared some milestones for the year.
Wheat Cents Found - 5,738.
Indian Head Cents Found - 9 (looking forward to getting to double digits)
More than 575 silver dimes including 199 Mercs. (Can't wait to get to 200 for the year).
Both the 2009 and 2009D Log Cabin Cent
Both the 2009 and 2009D Young Lincoln Cent.

Anywho, last week I picked up 2 dimes bags and 12 cent bags. Totals for the week were.
Wheats - 173. Early dates included 1914; 1916S; 1919D; 1920; 1927D; 1929S; 1930: 1935S; 1936S; 1939S. 1940-1955 S Mint - 38; 1940-1958 P&D - 121.

Silver 3 Mercs 1929D, 1942S, 1943.

Silver Roosies 60 Total including. 1946; 1946D; 1947; 1951D (3); 1951S 2; 1952D; 1953S 2; 1954D 3; 1956D; 1958D 3; 1960D 5; 1961 2; 1961D 2; 1962; 1962D 4; 1963D 6; 1964 4; 1964D 16. And the biggest surprise 2 1962 Proof dimes.

Canadian silver - 1960, 1967; 1962 2; 1966; 1959; 1943.

I normally only search cent and dime bags but because of the number of dimes I found I went back to that branch and picked up 2 bags of quarters and 1 bag of nickels. The quarters were a skunk, but I got a 1945S and 1943S silver nickels as well as a 1939D.

60 dimes in 2 bags? damn, how much is a bag?

nice total of wheats...

Actually all of the silver dimes with the exception of a single 1964D roosie came from one bag. The bags are $1,000.00 face (10,000 dimes).

I don't order coin, I simply buy what comes off of the coin counting machines that customers deposit.
