Nice finds, thats one productive tobacco field. The first piece may be a blade core, but I'm not sure. Thanks for the view.H.H. Welcome to tnet.

Thanks Viking I have seen alot of spent cores in this field and had never seen a piece that had the 2 grooves running down the middle before I am not a wood worker but it almost looks like one of the chisels they use

Nice looking Ky. finds. To me that piece looks like a tool with previous strikes or flakes removed. The overall shape and the way it's been worked to a bit make me think it's a possible adz or similar tool. Modified core is another possibility I think. Just my guess from those pics. Too bad about that Motley and Big Sandy / Graham Cave

I like the godar in 3rd pic middle. I see a couple ovate stemmed adenas there too. nice baccy patch

I have been looking for the tip to the big sandy I sure would have like to have found that one whole Is anyone out there from KY

Hey 1abhunter your in my backyard. I grew up in Cub Run and now live on Barren. Lots of nice shelters over around you.
