2011 was a good year for all, so let's try topping that in 2012. All new faces are welcome to join in at any time, and welcome back to everyone else. I will keep this tally going as I did the previous two years. Silver coins will be listed first, followed by gold items in $$. Numbers in (parenthesis) are last years numbers for you to compare your current count with. Good luck to all and HH!

With a few new members joining in on the tally this year, I'm setting our goal for this year at 3,000. A couple of our members got over 300 each last year, several over 100, and many near 100. This should not be difficult to reach. Let's step up our skills and kick some serious butt this year! With everyone gaining a bit of more experience, and upgrading their equipment I don't think this is out of our reach. Let's do this!

Got out for a few hours yesterday,hit a yard Is previously been to & managed a 35 Washington,picked up a 42 merc at an old churchyard, and found a 1920 merc in a strip across from my house. 65 on the year, spring weather is back yet again!

Hello L4S!! I went out for an hour or two Thursday and I got one silver, a 1941s Mercury Dime. That should put me at 14 silvers for 2012. I'm still at 1 gold for now.

3 mercs and a Washington quarter Sunday.This afternoon was a good hunt with 6 silver dimes including a 1876 cc seated and a 42' Washington. 76 total

add 2 more for me jon. detected a 64-d dime and a 61 quarter 2-21-12 total now ties total last year at 18 silver.

Went out to the beach for a few hours today. Got a 64-d washington quarter, '51 Washington quarter, '19 Merc, '43-s Merc, and a '44-p war nickel. Also got 5 silver rings. Gold eluded me today....Next time....next time.

Its been a tough month for me, three weeks without silver but finally got one yesterday after work. 1941s Washington quarter. I now have 20 on the year.

Hit sidewalk strips around my neighborhood for 4 mercs and a rosie yesterday evening. 81, I can feel a long wheatie,silverless streak coming.
