Not doubting you, of course - and how would I know anyway? :dontknow:
Not really my area...

But it seems to me if the government continues to take any more precious, or even semi-precious, metals out of our coinage then we'll be able to damage them with a Q-Tip.
Maybe even a single strand of al dente spaghetti. !!

Although it is possible, I just don't really see a hit from another coin. It appears more to me that debris got clogged in that tight portion of the lettering on the Die and created the crease. If that is the case, it is an interesting error but I doubt that it has any great value. However, some Error Coin Examiners with Coneca such as Mike Diamond, always have interest in interesting errors and love to examine them in person. If he finds it very interesting and worthwhile, the error could be wrote up in an issue of Coneca's Errorscope.
