I'm having a hard time finding info on this quarter.
I'll do my best to show everything I can.
The road base right at the tunnel entrance has two die chips.
There is a die crack between the R and O and a pair of cracks between the N and A in Carolina.

Strong south spread on all of North Carolina.
Light southeast spread on Blue.
No steps or flat areas.
There are a couple of other die cracks that I cannot photograph.

BC...It is really hard to be sure whether it is a Doubled Die or not because the letters are incuse. I have found several of the National Parks Quarters with the same type of thickness on the outer portions (rim side) of the letters but due to the letters being incuse, there does not seem to be any identifiable Split Serifs. I may dig mine out and send them to Mike Diamond for an assessment and opinion.

Those are just wow!
I don't know what happened to this. Doesn't look like normal reeds.
The opposite edge has a slice.
The spot with the reeds ( if that's the case) is next to the date. The rim has a double stacked appearance.

Possibly a roll crimping machine?
