View attachment 1033048 The originals should have a bottom that looks like this picture. The retro or vintage should have the newer hot wheel logo or say retro. If you do a search for hotwheels redline retro series you can see a pic of those bottoms. I don't currently have any myself.

This is the bottom of a newer redline Corvette I have laying around the difference is apparent.

I would suggest the "sold listings" search, the completed with show all that did not sell, and if they did not sell, who cares about the asking price?
The sold give you what people are actually willing to spend. As diggumup said though, check each by color, very important for value.
