Found a 1943 steel on the coin counter this week.
Canadian:
1967,1976,1986,1989.
(1) 2000 type II Reverse.

yeah, even the pennies are kinda of meager these days. I went through a box the other day. Best was a 42 canadian.

No, I just feel with the current laws against melting it just wouldn't make since for me. I believe the copper prices will go back to a lower value anyway. Silver and gold are the way to go!
