I have a GTI 2500 that is 15 years old. I know........ Would getting one of their new search coils improve the performance, or is all the circuitry different in the newer models and upgraded? In other words, should I get a new search coil, or a whole new detector?
Thanks Garrett Geeks!:dontknow:

Sorry to be so stupid, but is treasure talk the "woman" who talks you through the menu process? If so, I can do without that!

Yes I do, but find it really annoying! :) It is an old detector! Thanks so much for the info!
Like i said i do not think the talk went over big .. But you still have a good detector i like the GTI detectors better than the new AT Pro detectors...good luck

Thanks again! It took me about 80 hours to really learn this sucker! Don't want to start all over, but starting over a little bit is OK!
