26*...no wind; just fine with me...triple socked and tripled "T"d...and off

to the beach went I...couldn't take the cabin fever any longer :coffee2:

It was beautiful out there......and I wanted to see just what the recent storm produced at low tide.

Got lucky with a 14 K double wedding band find. It was recovered 2 feet from shore line in the mud about 6" deep.

I had detected this exact area three hunts in a row this past week, and finally the persistence paid off.

Here's pics

Thanks for looking

Lorraine

"Gold! #30?"

It's #29. this is probably it for 2010

This one is just one intact ring made in the style of 2 wedding bands.

WTG Lorraine

How the heck did you manage a find like that in all of that snow?!!! Up here in Southern Ontario, we sure are lacking the heavy snow falls, but the cold more than makes up for it. Absolutely no digging is possible as the ground is hard as concrete, and I would think that after a few minutes my fingers would probably break off if ever I bumped them on anything. If the weather warms up in February I might try my hand at doing a few tobaggan runs. Might be able to find a few nice recent drops in the snow if I'm lucky.

Congratulations on a great effort girl! :notworthy:
