Hi T.Net friends ! :hello:
Today there have been six hours of hunting in the vineyards, I have a hammered with an eagle with outstretched wings and a shield in the back :o nice, this could be a Foreign hammered, or my country but with a very high degree of rarity (I have to study this hammered) also another hammered of King Carlos, my best Medieval lead is very large and the schools of Catalonia appears ..... findings and many more.

Nice looking coin, I could see it was heavily clipped, did it used to have writing around it? If so, do you have a link to an unclipped example?

Not too ... with a good lunch I can hunt more than 8 , I'm still young ..... :laughing7:

The coin is a peseta of 1937. The coin is a relatively rare (only three in my collection) that was conducted during the second Spanish republic .... circulated only for nine years, that tubimos war and the new government the removal from circulation.

Yes, it's very strange hammered for us who are accustomed to English and Catalan hammered, but the Sicilian style hammered very similar to the Kingdom of Castile and Portugal, these Hammered are different for many reasons to start .... I guess you do not see the busts of kings, for that were intended for international trade currencies (like the hammered in Venice). :icon_scratch:
