Thats rather a 5 Pfennig tin coin.

5 Reichsmark would have been a hefty silvercoin and I do not think they minted silver still in 1941.

That is awesome. I know the town of rodgau where I live has been lived on since 700ad....let's get together for a hunt sometime

Your coins look like zinc and the bigger one is probably 5 Pfennig. Most war time coins were zinc and small denominations.
The last of the 5 Reichsmark coins were minted 1939 with a diameter of 29mm and a weight of 14gr. 90% Silver. There are no war time 5 Reichsmark.

From 1951 to 1974 the 5 mark coin was .625 silver before then should be higher silver concentrate. Nice finds.

Thanks so much for all that information. Looking forward to my next hunt later today. I'm lucky to go out a hour at a time since I have a little one but boy the hunts are fantastic. Can't wait to go out for the whole day.
