Took the day off today & glad I did, as I met the farmer & he is drilling the seed tomorrow, so this was the last day on this field. It was where I had the Celtic Gold (banner), & I continued gridding from where Shaun7, Cru'Dad & I left off.

Happy with the lone hunt, as I was gridding into an area which had produced very little in the past in the way of old stuff.

I like the two Military badges most likely WWI era. Need both I think :)
Worn William III Silver Sixpence (Love Token)
2 Jettons
Royal Dart Yacht Club Button (Devon) - another first
Roman Coin of Magnentius AD350s of a reverse type I need, album coin (better than picture) :)

Looking forward to tomorrow when Shun7 & I meet up with a fellow Tneter  :icon_thumright:

I'm still in the middle of the old Allottment, hence the buttons. Finds change as you move out of the sandy soil & into the clay.

Very nice crusader. The history in england is immense . I like how one field yields something else each year. just takes that plow to bring the items up . :icon_thumleft:

Sadly very few deep ploughs anymore. For example he is drilling the beans straight into the stubble. Deep ploughs now only happen about once every 4-5 years :(

I don't like either. Think I'll just stay and dig here. ;D
