Got out for a bit on 2-1 with my bro and hit a site of a former 1800s homestead. This place has been hit hard over the years but digging an iffy target that I almost passed up, landed me with 3 Indians (1864, 2 x 1889) ;D. Also dug a 1919D Wheatie and what appears to be an unmarked Silver ring :dontknow:. Got out last Saturday 2-4 and dug an additional 9 Wheats (1926-51D), old Button and the Lantern top has 2 patent dates 1859 and 1860. Sure was nice to get a taste of early spring!

Great finds! Wish we could get out. 4 degrees when I took my Yorkies out at 8:00 am today. Had to carry 3 of em into the house because their pads were clogged with snow and they had trouble walking.

Most excellent! Nice going. Sounds like you were able to beat the freeze of Mother Nature.

I am still sorting out all of my finds from two weeks ago. I desparately want to post pics but am literally going through tons of stuff I found. For a teaser before I list let me just say that I was able to hunt maybe 5% of property and so far have dug up over 150 wheats. Then the damn cold hits! I want to get back there ASAP.

Thanks Anne! The fish looking thing is actually an upside-down small rabbit cookie cutter. Didn't realize it until after the pics... :laughing7:

Congratulations, you had a good day or 2. The Indians look real good.
Mother Nature just shut down MD’ing for a while here, 7 inches of snow last night.
50’s next week though.
Good Luck
