This 3D interactive map of the Superstitions was created by Arizona State University Masters of Advanced Study in Geographic Information Systems.

This map is much more accurate and honest than the Google Earth app. It also has a lot more information. It may appear to have lower resolution and not have the extreme 3D of Google Earth - that's the honest part - both google and this ASU map are using the same data. The google earth map has been prettified and enhanced but that's where the problems come from.

Many posters here actually believe they are seeing (or measuring) objects on the ground that are as small as 3 foot or less on google earth. That is an impossibility since the google earth mapping has 3 foot per pixel resolution at best - just like this ASU map. Generally you are going to need at least 4x4 pixels to recognize a simple box shape. That's 12 x 12 foot on the map, more complex shapes require more pixels.

When you think you have found an interesting object on Google Earth take a look at this map to see if the feature is still there. If it isn't you have been studying a google created fantasy object.
