the grinch that stole christmas

i made the mistake this morning of telling the lady from vmi who got me intouch with mr micnhael and gave her a kinda rundown of the return.

she was unaware of the 12 year time frame and that he had replaced the ring in 1998.

quote her: graduates are only allowed to own 1 ring, they can buy only 1 ring, if he has two rings, he must return one to the school.

how about those beans

grinch

maybe more to follow

This might explain why the guy didn't sound to excited when you first contacted him. The school should give you the ring.

Only one solution to the VMI one-ring policy. Have both of them melted down and made into a new ring 2x the size and weight as the original. Now THAT would be a BIG ring! :laughing9:

Obvisiously VMI can't reuse the ring so ask them to split the scrap value with you 50/50 with the owner.

Call the TV station, get Mr. Micheal to come down to the beach and throw the ring back in the ocean in front of the TV cameras. There, it is lost again! Max you be waiting the the wings unseen, when the crew leaves, get out there and find the ring again and do in private with Mr. Micheal. To many noses were stuck into this deal.

The world's nose was into it ... I'm on the other side of the world and I can definitely see a nostril on the horizon.

excellent find and return Tuffy, It's going to be hard to find a bigger ring than that, but may you make up for it in quantity
