I checked on a lot of my fields this morning in the county. Many of them have not been turned and several have been turned in the last few days but have not had any rain on them. I ended up going to a field that has lots and lots of chert in it. It has not been turned since the peanuts were harvested last fall and I have looked it a lot of times since then. I was pleased to find these.

Good day...bet ya can't wait for some rain on those fields.

The one with the notched base...is it calf creek or something else?

I don't know what kind it was. The base is not broken. It was made that way. Only the top is broken. It is very thin, a real heartbreaker.

Eye popping chert Americus. You have sure been finding a lot here lately. C'mon rain they are starting to plow a little here. You need to shoot some dirt pics like Larson
