I got a box of pennies today from the bank, which is $25 worth. I had a good day with the wheats! Smile Here are my results:

7 Wheats on the day... odd that I got an 09 and a 26 but none from the 40s... oh well... now on to the canadians...

I also got a $500 box of half dollars yesterday and got SQUAT! Oh well, you win some and loose some I guess. I was bound to have a bad day after the last few great days of swinging the coil!

I also got 10 rolls of the new 2006-P Nebraska State Quarters.

Great stuff! That 09 must make your heart stop for a second knowing that an 09-S VDB was supposedly put into circulation earlier this month. Nebraska quarters already? I still looking for a Nevada P.

There was one put into circulation recently? How do you know?

I got 2 rolls of Nevada about 2 weeks ago. I was just at a bank today getting a box of pennies and the tellers all know that I buy lots of coin, so as soon as she saw me she said "I hope you are here to get quarters today, I have a lot!" She showed me the rolls and sure enough, they were Nebraska.

I might go buy a few more rolls later this week, who knows...

I personally can't stand stunts like this. Choice examples of these rarities are tough enough to find without this idiot spending one at face value just to promote collecting. Can you just see these beauties being thrown to the curb by someone who hates pennies?
