I hear ya. Thats about my average as well - 1 silver dime per 4 boxes. I think I'm sitting on about a 8-10 box skunk streak right now. I'm insanely envious of those that consider finding 1 per box a low average.

I would quit them as well except for the fact that I have a perfect dime dump bank. There is a bank with a coin counter very near my main dump bank. Their coin counter does not accept halves. So basically I have nothing to lose by searching as I have to pass right by it on dump day every week. Naturally, since I have the perfect set up that would in no way affect my half hunting, they just do not produce at all. I'm honestly thinking of switching to quarters. If I'm only going to find 1 or 2 silvers per 10 or so boxes, it might as well be a quarter. Its not like I can do any worse.

i hear ya... i do it for an extra since they only will get be 2 half boxes... but i just feel like i am wasting my time, and to open the rolls up and just get disgusted at no silver... i feel like its a waste. quarters were a horror... but ehh i can dump a box at work a week... maybe i will go back to them instead...

That's odd. I am having better luck with dimes right now. Halves have given me 3 40%ers in the last 10 boxes.
