Today me and my son decided to try something new. Checking fields might sound easy but from our experience it seems that they never end.. Though the day we metal detected and scoured the surface for anything that may be from the past.. Nothing in four hours.. Just junk cans and burnt trash.. So we decided to check the other end of the field before we left.. On the way across we found the arrowhead laying right on top the dirt.. It was cool my son has never seen an arrowhead until now.. He was so excited.. I had to calm him down.. I said ok ok let's keep looking. So after taking two more steps we got a hit in the middle of the field. My son said we gonna dig that.. I started to say it's just another can, but instead I told him why not? After a couple minutes digging around I finally found it.. It looks like a mini ball ( could be wrong ) but it was cool.. The rest of the day was a bust. But at least me and my son got to do it together. God Bless..
