Quick park stop after work yields 4 silvers and Hong Kong $5 surface find.
I went out for about 2 hours after work and did not expect much. However, silver Gods were smiling upon me, managed to rescue 4 silvers!! The 1944 war nickel looks to have some die error? Let me k ow what you think?

Think Die Hard is right. I've found many war nickels with that bubbling effect. Don't think the mint got the metal mixtures quite right, and caused many to look like this after being buried.
