Took the really nice watch i found last summer detecting on the beach to a jewelry repair shop today. They said all they needed to do was fix a band and replace the battery. Turns out the watch is solar powered and doesnt need a bettery replacing, only 24 hours in the sun to charge it for 180 days :) So the total for fizing the band was only 8 bucks, 400 dollar watch for 8 bucks? pretty good deal I reckon ;D Plus now i have a nice watch to wear...

Its a Citizen Diving Watch with Solar-Tech and Eco-Drive, Stainless Steel, waterproof up to something like 200 feet i think...very nice watch :) oh yea and it has glow in the dark hands :D

Heres some pics: Last one is the links i had removed (3).

Hopefully the problem is it just needs sun ;)

I have yet to figure out how to set the time ::) :P

So glad you have it up and working and can enjoy it for all its worth! Don't you just wonder, how can so many people lose so many, great things? ??? I can't see letting something so nice, and of such a good size get lost!
Hope you enjoy it for a good long time!

Thanks guys, hopefully there will be sun today so i can try and charge the battery ::) The reason someone lost it was they took it to a crappy jeweler to have the band fitted and the band was loose and it fell apart and off, im guessing....

Yes, a new pic. It was taken when I was on that TV series, the Sampsons or Simspoons or something like that. I only regret I didn't have on my lucky blue prospecting shirt. Sorry to piggy back your post Jake. Forgive me?
