Isn't it great! Congratulations on your first quarter. Yup, that canslaw can be annoying. I just clean it up so it isn't bothering me next time.

I hate it when I find a dime or quarter just a year or two from being silver... The other day I found both a 1965 and 66 in the same hole... Aww so close! It happens alot to me.

Sorry it's not silver...1964 and earlier is what your looking for with regard to silver coins.

Don't worry the silver will come eventually, my house was built in the 30's and I went over every inch of it and not 1 silver ??? So far only 2 silvers this year and that is with about 100 plus hours in the field.

even for us hunters that are very active... silver isn't that common... I have only found 10 this year and all are dimes. They are harder and harder to find.

Be thorough and patient---good things WILL come----a lot of my good finds have come from the places that you would not expect anything to be there (like a farmers field with no prior history of a home)---remember--the ground has been there forever--be adventurous and hunt "off the beaten path"--you will be surprised and rewarded---guaranteed
