45 Minutes to "get the lead out"
I was able to get out for a 45 minute quickie at lunch today. It's a real treat having two old farm spots within a ½ mile from work. I hit the farm I've been detecting at for about 6 months now. When I got there, my other hunting partner Mo Skeeto was already there ready to do some more probing around. He's a real blood sucker!
I tested out the new 9x8 DD coil I just bought recently, on an area I've been over numerous times in the past. I received a somewhat faint signal, and thought to myself “another rusted nail or plow tip”. I was pleased to see this 3-ringer CW drop bullet in the hole instead! This baby was about 8” deep, so I was pleased with the coils results. Now I need to hit the whole area again as I get time.
Have a great w/end folks,
MM
P.S. Still no wilver.
