Today started out nice and ended in snow. But not before many relics were found. An eight pointed star, brass sail boat, Thimble, keyhole cover from lock, 1843 1/4 Franc, Ring with stone and mermaids on each side, round brass(HAVE NO IDEA) and what looks like a broken spur. 11 - 1 (10).jpg11 - 1 (11).jpg11 - 1 (12).jpg11 - 1 (13).jpg11 - 1 (14).jpg11 - 1 (15).jpg

Very nice assortment of relics. Congrats on the amazing finds! :icon_thumright:

I really like the leather decoration and the spur. The padlock keyhole cover has a stamped "WR" which stands for King William, and dates about to the era of your French silver coin.

Thanks also for including photos of both sides of the artifacts.

Very nice finds

The round brass is the finger hole for a candle holder.

I wouldnt have noticed the snow finding stuff like that very cool finds

Great finds! That a good looking old ring.

Wow very nice finds! Congrats! :icon_thumleft: That ring is very cool.

Thanks everyone for responses. My hope was that someone would have info on the 8 pointed star. But something really cool came from this thread. I saw, in the similar threads section, where in 2017 rodgerdodger found the same ring. Never would I expect to see that ring anywhere else. Only on Treasurenet. Thanks!

I assumed you knew the star is just a horse harness decoration.

Awesome relics, congratulations! :occasion14:
