Went to local bank that I had not been to before. I asked to buy halves and the teller asked how many. I asked for 350$ . She asked if that was all I wanted. Asked her how many she had , said she could sell about 2000$.I took the 350 and found 1 roll of 64 halves and 3 40%. Went to my house and pulled a 1000$ out and went back.The lady told me that an older man had cashed in a ton of coins about a year ago , approx 3 months before he died. I ended up buying all 2000$.More than half were full rolls of single dates , 71, 72 , 76.All were circulated but I did end up with a total of 20 90% , 63 40% and the promise that I would get a call when more coins come in . The lady said she could not get rid of all the halves. She has 600$ worth of pennies that I am starting to work on.
