2.5 hours today. 3 ships spikes,3 lbs of sinkers,a key,an odd knurled piece it has holes for cotter pins but why knurl it, one piece of outboard motor propeller,lots of nails, and some can slaw.

Yeah baby! If the gold had been there you would have found it for sure! That is a lot of lead and scooping! Great hunt and congrats on getting out!

Timm, sorry you had no coin love. I urge detectorists to take up home bullet casting in order to get more fun and use out of all those sinkers!

I have moulds for all of my muzzle loaders, and for divers weights too. visability was crummy but it felt great. I cant believe I'm still hauling 3 lbs of sinkers every dive. the sandbars have shifted so I am trying to hurry up before they shift back. I still have one spot that I have not dove at all yet and I need to check out 2 others that I already have but am pretty sure the sandbars are shifted there too. hope the weather holds.
