Tried to post this but I don't think it took - sorry if it becomes a repost

Been quite a while since I posted here (around '07) but the detecting bug has bitten me again.

Here are the post worthy finds

It's 5 wheats and a WWII Expert Rifle badge - if anyone has more info on the badge, it would be appreciated. ;D

I believe it is... the rifle pendant is marked but the top part has no mark

I was in the Army around 1991 and got the very same rifle badge. It goes on the dress uniform.Very cool find though. You just never know what you may pull up.Very cool.

Hi, I was in the Army as well and unfortunately it's not Sterling, it's a nickel finish. Ironically, the more subdued version is oxidized silver.

I am currently in the United States Army (and have been for a good few years) and we still to this day use the same expert qualification badge. You can buy them in a clothing and sales store with no problem. I still say it is a cool find, its not everyday you find this kind of stuff.
