5 month since i started detecting! DOWSING RODS

It has been 5 month since i started detecting and today i found my third wheat cent and i plan on hunting around the local high school now that school is out. I am realy goimg to get into mding now that i have more free time and have just built a set of dowsing rods which realy do work. i used them to find the wheate. i'll post pics tomoro.? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

4 MDnoob and others, this is how i built them. 2X---1/8-23" copper rods 17"-6". 4X---3/4" copper end caps 2X---3/4"-5"copper pipe.
1. Drill holes in the center of all the end caps that will just let your wire though.
2. cap off both ends of each of the two copper pipes. (you have your handles)
3. bend and cut wire to specifide lenghth. insert short end of wire in holes in caps.
Hold 6in-1ft apart slant 5-10 degrees downward

I apologize for starting a topic that is clearly sensitave to some. I personly think that dowsing works, but that is just my stance.
I recomend we end this topic for now until another newbie kicks the fire ant mound. for those of you who are open minded you have the measerments.to all you others. HH

8) I work for an electric company and one of our electricians called the shop for our buried (sp) line locator so he could follow a buried pipe from the early 1900s to find a damaged jbox - well by the time i got there with it this guy had fashioned two solid copper #4 wire into dowsing rods and found that box within 1ft of where they crossed - so i have built two set of these just for kicks and experimenting - hell it sure gives the neighbors something to talk about - and it adds another dimension to the whole md'ing thing...... if you read up on dowsing they say you can find just about anything with them ........ (i dont know about that) but there is a bit of science envolved ...... you can ridicule me if u want i dont really care ------ its cool
Also the customer was quite happy 'cause it saved him some bucks in labor.

You know, Dowsing with copper could really work especially if it's done during a storm when there are more electrons in the air . They would become more sensitive.

Wires in a junction box can cancel out each others induction or increase the induction. Induction is a MAGNETIC FIELD. You ever stick a screwdriver to a transformer and see it stick. Have you ever heard an electrician cursing because he stuck it into a hot panel and now its magnetic. SO I STAND CORRECTED if you ever see a coin in the ground hooked to a live electical line especially a linemans high voltage line it is possible that it couold be dowsed with metal rods. I however have never ran into a coin or gold hooked to a high voltage electrical line.

I believe there's stuff out there we still don't understand. For example - I believe there have been cases where psychics have been eerily accurate - especially in cases where they have helped law enforcement solve crimes. (in fact I have seen unbelievable things myself! maybe I'll share them here someday)

I don't know why some people can dowse, but I believe some people can - I am not one of those people.

Below is a pair of Spanish dip needles I own... (7 1/2 inches long) they are simply sterling silver rods, hammered and notched at the ends... you can buy the silver rods from a jewelry supply store. You can also make rods using coat hangers...

For the record, I don't disbelieve in dowsing. I do disbelieve in some long range locators that have been sold to treasure hunters.

Keep an open mind and a closed wallet, and give dowsing a try -

"yah' i like him" why do u like him ----"because he's a trouble maker"...........i used to do martial arts , ride bike for 1000's of miles , built my own ham radio antennas and talked all over the world , fished , sang in bands ...... i always said if u picked your nose for a hobby somebody would come along and tell you - that you were doing it wrong and try to ruin yer' fun............heck i did bonsai for awhile .... the guys on those forums were brutal ~ worse than anything on here....... Go do your dowsing its fun . dont worry about anybody else . now i got guys that i know that have 1000 dollar whites and try to compare my ace 250 to them ..... thats like buying a 2000 $ bass guitar to play in a thrash band........ :P DOWSERS RULE LEFTYBASS
