Went out twice this weekend and got a total of 8 silver coins to get to 95 for the year. So close to 100 I can smell it! Hope to have it by next Sunday. Finds include 1 heavily worn 1904 Barber dime, 1952 Rosie, 1941, 1944 and 1945 Mercs and 1936 D (heavily worn and I hit it with the lesche), 1950 and 1960 Washington Quarters. Hit two ball fields that have given them up before. Have decided to focus on spots where I have found silver before while trying to get to 100, then will try some new places.

That's a very impressive record. Nice finds for sure. 100 is just around the corner.....

I'm rocking ZERO silver. with about 15-20 hours swinging near seattle.

I want to upgrade to the garrett 250 - just seems much more functional. can someone recommend it? I see matt is on the garrett 250 - how do you like it? do you have detector envy, and just want to upgrade?

I bought my garrett 250 last July and only upgraded to a fisher f75 this past March. The 250 is a good machine, but I fell in love with the hobby so much I knew I would upgrade sooner or later. It just happened sooner than later. The 250 will find it if it's there and not much deeper than 6-7 inches I found.

dang, the fisher is a thousand dollars! ( or 35 ozs of silver )

I am super into finding stuff - but...seattle just doesn't have the history other parts of the country has, therefore, less targets I desire. I dunno, I will troll CL for a fisher perhaps.

I hear a garrett AT pro isn't too shabby of a machine. About 500 less than a fisher.

That's the main thing I've noticed with the upgrade. Just digging less trash. With the 250 I noticed nearly every target that was round or large gave off a good penny to half dollar tone. You will still dig trash, everyone does, but you tend to dig less and that's a huge plus.
