Today, I hit another section of a park that has consistently provided me gold (2) and Silver (1 chain), and a host of costume jewelry (about 10).

Today was no exception..

5 rings found... 1 stamped 14KTG (though I have STRONG suspicions its not real... as when I polished it, the metal turned whitish, instead of staying gold colored). 1 Men's ring (polished below, and until my next men's ring, my daily wearer), stamped 925. It rang up like a silver dollar, and I had to dig a bit for it. I was actually expecting a can. LOL! And one women's ring stamped 925 AU. I think it's white gold over silver. Not very heavy, but does have three diamond chips (bringing my diamond ring finds to 3!). The other two rings were costume/junk (though the gems on the one are sharp enough, I think it was a gold plated ring.).

With the $2 in clad, and the foreign coins (already posted), all in all, a good day. Looking forward to heading back tomorrow on my lunch hour!

I do have to say, once I uploaded the photos... that silver men's ring sure did polish up nicely. :)

I love finding the rings even if they turn out to be junk. Congrats on bringing home 5.

Nice five ringer hunt. That's only happened to me once but one was actually plastic and stuck inside a bottle cap.

The silver ones are really nice.

Also, I dug a plated "gold" ring marked 14K recently. The original marks were actually removed and the fake one stamped. So, when in doubt, get it checked out; you never know.

Congrats on a great hunt. Five rings don't come along very often. If I were you I would really pound that site.

Congrats on pulling 5 rings in one hunt, at a park. :occasion14: I have never pulled that many in 1 day let alone some ice.
