5 Silver Day! 3 Silvers in S.F. Median Strip, 2 Silvers near S.F. School!

[Cool Hand Fluke]

Went back the big long median strip in San Francisco and dug out 3 silver coins. Two silver dimes( 1946, 1953) and a silver quarter (1958-D)! Also dug out another ton of copper tubing! The broken pieces of copper was spread out over the entire length of the grass strip. Ray and myself must have dug up 5 more pounds! Also found 2 wheat pennies and about 10 clad coins.

After lunch ray and myself went over to a school and hunted another median strip that was quite a bit smaller that the first one we started at. Dug up 7 wheat pennies, a 1946-D silver dime, a "Bigelow Medal", and a silver ring. So we had another great day in San Francisco, anytime you go home with 5 silvers that's a great day!

Ya know that "trash copper & brass" can be turned into $? Around here, the Meth Heads go into live sub stations to steal copper. Good goin on the silver.

Sure looks like that copper is what kept other detectorists from hunting and finding those goodies eh...and hey at least you should be able to scrap all those pounds of copper for some cash! Nice finds
