hi all,

I'm new to this bill collecting stuff and I recently came across a 50 dollar bill that I have a few questions about. I tried looking this bill up on google and ebay and I am having trouble finding any information (value). It's a 50 dollar star note 1963A from minneapolis. I read that minneapolis is supposed to be a key district. I also have no idea on grading (sorry no pic, no camera). I was looking at a couple bills to compare the grade and one I saw was vf-xf and it has creases and such all over it, this bill is was better quality than that. All I could find was on this star note was a little crease on the back corner and the edges have a little wear..

any advice or info or links would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

a 1963 A star note I am guessing that the signatures are Granahan and Fowler in Fine condition its worth $70 XF $150 CH CU (63) $500 and Gem CU (65) $550 most bills that you find now a days that are that year may grade a VF-XF its hard to say without seeing it or having it in my hands. Try these links this should head you in the right direction if you want to start collecting notes, let me know how it goes ;D
