50s nickels

50's nickels

I had time for a couple of hunts yesterday
and first hunt i hit the quarter corner and
came away with two 50's nickels 54 and 59.

second hunt of the day i managed 6 more 1950's
nickels from a site about 10 miles away.
Notice how the ground is good to the nickels
at one site and not the other site, weird.
I also managed a few bucks in clad, but did
not post the pics of it.
It was neat pulling all of the older nickels
out of the ground.

thats odd how there tore up at one sight and not the other

it shows how the soil is different
from spot to spot here in Shelby county.
